I have always loved jewellery for as long as I can remember. As a little girl growing up in Montreal, I had an antique dresser full of earrings, bracelets and dangling necklaces in all sorts of colours. I would always find a way to splurge on a nice piece of silver jewellery: as a student it was a pair of earrings, as a professional it was a few more expensive items to add to my growing collection. As a proud stay at home Mom of two boys each piece became a little something just for me.

In 2001 I opened Days Gone Buy, a jewellery and home décor boutique. In searching for some unique and different jewellery to sell in the store, I started experimenting with stones and beads that I had inherited from my grandmother. I loved the look and feel of the silver. Holding a piece of turquoise in my hand and examining the way the stones were cut. Creating and designing jewellery is such a passion. So, In 2004 I began my new journey and Dayzee Designs was born. |
